This weekend I had a party to go to with all the things we find very important at these events: celebrities, dogs and, most importantly, food and drinks! It happened at the Dumond flagship store, and I had picked out a pair of shoes from the brand to wear to the event: a pair of beige fringe sandals in the best 70s boho style! Hey ho, let’s go!
I decided to start out with beige hot pants from American Apparel, a creme lace bra from Urban Outfitters and a super loose crop top from American Apparel. I really liked the theory of the look, but definitely not the actual outcome.
I figured things would look better if everything was a bit more tight-fitting and for a moment I thought, why not do a total-beige look? BECAUSE THIS, that’s why! LOL. What a horrible ideia! I seriously feel like I’m in one of those penitentiary uniforms from OITNB.
Still, I liked how the beige crop top looked with the creme bra underneath, so I decided that the shorts had to go. I picked out a pair of ethnic-print shorts and now I love it! Not only does the print go great with the fringes from the shoes, the colors also work out perfectly.
I finished everything off with my Juicy Couture choker, pendulum necklace from Urban Outfitters, rings from Arezzo and Vivara, phalange ring from Asos and Burberry bag, which just happens to have all the same colors and the shorts ?! Details in the gallery below:
The final look came out like this:
American Apparel crop top
Urban Outfitters lace bra
Dumond fringe shoes
Juicy couture choker
Urban Outfitters pendulum necklace
Personal collection stone ring
Asos phalange ring
What’d you guys think? Do you love the fringe sandals as much as I do? Leave your comments below!
