OutFIGHT of the Day: look for a night out in chilly São Paulo
You know when a piece of clothing steals your heart?
That’s what happened with this Mexican skull jacket I got as a gift from WearEver. Look at this print! Look at these colors! I want to put together a million outfits with it!
But since we can only go out wearing one outfit at a time, today’s OutFIGHT of the Day will be all about coming up with a look for a night out in these chilly São Paulo nights. ?
The skull print is full of different shades of blue, and I wanted to bring that out with a bright blue piece. I had no doubt and went straight for my American Apparel dress. I hadn’t worn it in a while and as soon as I put it on I remembered the massive side-boobage that happens here, and even though the Boy liked it, I definitely cannot go out like this!
To cover up the boobies I chose a leather bra from American Apparel in navy blue. Perfect! It’s got really thin straps on the sides and back and made the whole thing look really delicate. I absolutely love looks that have plunges or transparencies and that show a cute bra underneath. Makes everything a big more interesting.
I put the jacket back on to see the results and I really liked the combination of colors. It’s exactly what I was going for. This OutFIGHT has turned out to be pretty easy!
I put on my Aldo military boots and realized that these are probably my most-worn shoes. Not only are they really comfy, they are super stylish and gives any look a little bit of a rock ‘n roll feel. Think of how different the whole outfit would feel if I’d decided on a pair of black pumps, for instance.
Since this is a nighttime look, I finished it off with my sequined Zara bag (love!), pendulum necklace and earrings from H&M, and rings from David Yurman, Bvlgari, and some vintage ones. The details are in the gallery below:
And we’re done! Nothing like a few simple and very cute pieces to make our lives a little bit easier, right? This was barely an OutFIGHT and I can’t even recognize myself. LOL. This is what it turned out like:
So what’d you guys think of the look? How would you wear this Mexican skull jacket? Leave your comments below and help me spread the love by sharing this post!
